Default clunking after coilover install?

So about a week ago i got BC coilovers and they were just fine for the first two days, then after those two days, and after my car was in a little fender bender, anytime i go over bumps or start turn and the weight of the car shifts, there is a clunking noise coming from whichever side the weight shifts to. I jacked the car up the other night and tightened everything down but it didnt stop the clunking... any ideas guys?

Maybe the fender bender could have thrown part of your suspension out of spec or knocked something loose.

could be suspension bushings. make sure the top hat bolts are tight too.

so whats the word on BC coilovers? we need reviews.

im personally still getting stance, most likely next week, but im still curious of others' input.

i like the way the coilovers feel, i have them on full hard up front and about midway in the rear and i love how the car handles now for a daily driver and i dont have to worry about sliding out very much. my passengers might say its a little stif but i think it feels great, besides the clunking i have no complaints about the coilovers

It's the bushings... I had the same problem before I swapped out the back ones, The front ones still need replacing though.

If the car's parked and you turn the wheel from lock to lock does it make the sound? If that's the case, make sure the top nuts are tight, and that there is enough preload on the spring.
