How to remove back seats?

Default How to remove back seats?

tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything. Can someone tell me how to remove the rear seats on my SC? Thanks!

ok. first u gotta take off the bottom seat. the bottom seat is clipped in by 2 clips either side of the seat. there is a little ledge of some sort on either end as well. slip your hand under and briskly pull up. you have to do this w/ both sides. then you will se 2 or 3 bolts keeping the back portion of the seat on. they are just below the back portion of the seats on left and right. u need to take these bolts out. and the seat will seem like its still on there. you have to again briskly push up on the bottom of this part. then you're done!


if this is to get keys that are locked in your trunk, it would be a hell of a lot easier if you unclipped your 3rd brake light and unhooked the subwoofer. i got mine out like this.

I thought I did that once LOL! All I did was jump the cables under the steering wheel (It was locked) and that was much easier then removing the back seat trying to reach around the gas thank.

Reason why I said "I thought" is that my keys were in my friends pocket.
