Window stuck down, pass. side wont go down?

Yes you can apply power directly to the window motor to roll up the widow, but you have to pull apart the whole door panel to get to it. It sounds like either a bad drivers side window switch assembly or some bad wiring (usually, damaged areas show up around the door hinge between the door and the chassis).

Default Please help!!!

Thank you guys for all the useful information here, it help me with the purchase of my car. I have a 1993 lexus sc 400 from the driver side I can neither roll down the driver or the passenger side windows. The door lock works from that switch. From the passenger side window I can operate the window fine and lock the doors. The mirror control also works from the switch. I have another switch that I tried but with the same result. What could it be?
