Default Quick Question about Supra suspension

I am currently trying to install a set of H&R Springs and Tokico Illumina shocks for the Supra on my SC3. But neither are being compatable.. terrible part is that both model numbers on the springs and shocks are correct.
Is there something I am missing? Any information would be great, thanks!

I'm placing the front and back ones correctly, the problem is that I am unable to compress the spring when the shocks and spring are seated together. It appears that the shocks travel is too long for the spring.

thats the thing, I was with a mechanic at the time and he said there wasn't a possible way for him to be able to compress the spring.. he believed it to be too small for the shock

your mechanic isnt a very good mechanic if he thinks its impossible to compress the coil spring.

LOL you can rent a compressor tool at a local automotive store, use it, return it, and deposit is refunded.

Any reason why this isn't posted in the suspension forum?

Moved for you.

Apologies for wrong section...
He HAD a similar compressor tool, I guess he had no clue on the account of them being smaller because of the dropping springs

I guess I will have to take my car to someone else..

Edit: But 100% my setup should work?

Once the weight of the car is on the ground. The shock/spring will stay compressed.
