Default Getting restless ..opinions needed

So I've been trying to sell my '95 400 since the beginning of the year now with no luck. I'm not lowering the price because its really fair for the market here, the problem is there just isint a market here. I can probably count on one hand the number of SC enthusiasts in the city.
Once I sold it I was planning of purchasing a 5spd, or a 98+ 400, then start modding the hell out of it.
Anyways since I'm getting kinda restless here I'm thinking I should either keep it and just mod this one since I cant sell it.
Or, I guess I can continue trying to sell it, but mod it anyways, then just swap the parts out..
Or am I not being patient enough? Continue as is, and try to sell it..?

Any other options are appreciated..

either one of the three would work, altogether even, keep, mod, then sell, i just wouldn't buy any mods you couldn't easily swap to another SC.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you.. I would rather start with a different car (99 sc4) but that's just me. If your car isn't selling you either aren't marketing well or, as I have come to realize, the market sucks like crazy because of gas. So you either are going to have to take a loss and sell the car cheaper, or just keep the car. Whatever you do, good luck

starting with a 98+ sc4 or a 5spd is the way to go, but those are hard to find...especially here. Just start modding your 95

mod it, doesnt matter if it is 95 or 97, once you put a kit on it with rims, it all looks the same, there are some sick 92's on this forum that will out shine a 99 anyday.

I agree. Don't really know why the year would matter. Those motors run forever.

The extra HP of the VVT engine I suppose?

Anyway, mod the 95 either a 1jz swap or building up the 1uz is the best route imo for the uniqueness.

Just spent a week in Vancouver (downtown). Only saw one SC the whole time I was there and we were running around alot. Very strange. We saw ALOT of fine sheet metal though in that city. Shocked that you can't sell it. It's a great looking car ( the SC) for that city. You got pic's/more info on your car?

The SC is an undervalued car, Ive been trying to sell mine for over a year to upgrade to a 99. My 95 is so clean and in great shape Im holding out for the smart buyer that will pay the price of admission. When I go to buy a 99 it will be exspensive Im sure.

Yeah theres defiantly a lot of nice rides here (you can thank our large asian population for that lol), but Lexus never marketed the SC in Canada very strongly. As mentioned earlier in this post 98+ are extremely rare here, and the 5spd wasn't even sold in Canada.
Here are some pics of mine since you asked; as with a lot of SC owners, I take care of mine and its in great condition. Its got ~124 Miles..

IMO, keep the 1uz and do a manual conversion. That'd a be conversation piece for meets, rare, and extremely cool.

I've read that it can be done on the cheap or run you a few grand, all up to you though because its your car.
