Update: SC restoration
As some of you know, my 92 SC was severely damaged by a freak hailstorm in the DC area a few weeks back. Numerous body shops said that the insurance company will total the car. But my insurance didn't total the car but gave me $2900.00 to get repaired. That with $1500.00 I am adding to it will allow my body shop to do a complete paint and body work on it. Just want to post pics on progress. The SC has a 1jz stock the odo shows 225.000+ miles. I was very shocked at how much they covered. The adjuster mentioned that if is was a american made car same year mileage. They would have totalled it and cut a check for $1000.00 or less.
Oh Sorry for the crappy cellphone pics.

And can you guess what's in the BOX????

Yea, there was extensive damage to the hood, driver door, fender and rear quarter, plus roof and trunk. The hail came in at a 45-90% angle. I thought the body shop was going to use PDR (paintless dent removal), but they decided the old fashion was because most of the dents were creased. Now to find a decent car cover. As you can see they do a very thorough job, removing trim and all. It's actually next in line in the paint booth. Same people the painted my GS front end. Manager had a 400hp Volks GTI and is working on a 600hp one. So he is a car not. He will be installing my HKS FMIC too at no additional charge.

Good god there's going to be more bondo in that car than metal. LOL.
Long as it looks good when done.
PS- you need to resize those just a bit. I'm on a high res widescreen and I have more than 40% scroll which is too much for most of our members.
