Default Rack/Pinion Any ideas guys?

I purchased a set of rack bushings, but not the other piece that wraps onto the rack where this u bracket holds it in place. I guess it's called a bushing right? Where can I purchase this piece?

Easy to get at the dealer. I got the Valmos rack bushes and the large round bush from the toyota dealer.

Matt.

I've thought about that already; however, I need the polyurethane one to match the 2 bushings I put on already on the driver side. Hey does the round bushing actually wear out also? I wasn't sure if mine was bad or not, but there were no tears or anything like that.

You can get it from Lexus.
or
You can buy a Diazen kit for $40 from TM engineering.

It'll come with the smaller round bushings with METAL sleeves so you can replace the ones with plastic sleeves from Ebay that were crushing while you're there.

Maybe I'll do that. Besides, I should replace the plastic spacer inserts to the Daizen metal inserts anyway. God, but it's such a pain to install them with the use of just jack-stands inside my garage.

its not that bad to do them on jack stands. i got done about 1.5 hours ago on my buddies mk3 supra doing his poly rack bushings. now thats a pain in the anus especially when you have a 1jz swap. sc3 is cake compared to the mk3 supra bushings. you should be lucky lol

get the daizen kit. you wont regret it. its quality and complete with all necessary parts.

I guess it's also the fact that it was my first time doing the rack bushings. It should be technically a 45 minute job. But I was also thinking that now it should be easier since I already have on new bushings, plus they're 2 piece to 1 instead of one whole piece.
