I've tried searching this and not coming up with too much helpful info, i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, my car just recently had a 1jz swap and from the start the 1jz trans would always start off in 2nd gear, i thought it was a bad solenoid so i just drove it anyways and ended up burning up the transmission in a day .

well another 1jz trans was put on and it had the exact same problem, so it was replaced with a 3rd transmission and it's doing the exact same thing so i'm figuring it shouldn't be a solenoid on 3 differnt trans, the ecu seems like the only answer, anyone have any knowledge on this they could share? it's not throwing any codes and the OD light has not come on since the swap.
