i am current looking for a car to buy for school. I love the supra. but it hard to find and prices are high. so I am lean toward the SC with the supra motor. I found this guy for sell his 92 sc300 with 1jzgte with turbo in it. he said the chassis is around 160k and the motor is 40k.
Suspension is eibach pro kit springs with Tokico HP struts.
Wheels are 18x8.5 (255/35 tire)/ 18x9.5 (285/35 tire)
the car is AUTOMATIC
he selling for $6000. i don't know much about the sc300.
is it worth the price? please help guys.

 

What is the condition of the car? $6k isn't a bad price for a 1jz. Is the motor stock? Still twins? How is the interior?

Looks like its in good shape and has been updated with the 97 front. Seems like he is gonna provide the parts to fix the AC. So for the price i would go for it. Oh your ebay link will prolly get removed so just post the pics to the thread.

 

Hey I have a 94 Sc300 with 78k, i am looking to sell it but I was asking between $7500 and $8000. Not sure if that is out of your price range, but let me know if you have any interest.

 

for 6k it doesnt seem that bad so yes its pretty reasonable. just get some history on the car and find out if anything internally or physically been repaired if not. goodluck!

You won't get it for 6k. That's just the opening bid. I bet the reserve is closer to 10.
