Default 92-95 taillight breakthrough!!!

wow guys, this may be the best thing that i have thought up yet.
so im playing around with my car in the garage and i think of how i can change the color of the rear turn signal, (something that every 92-95 sc owner thinks of) and i come across some RED 1156 bulbs... so i throw them in there and all i can say is...

WOW

they are completly red when the turn signals are on!!! well if you cant tell im really excited!! but i thought that i would share it with the rest of the clublexus community.

red turn signals........... (i was hoping that u had found a way to make them clear) but if u like it, mad props to ya man.

BTW; I'm guessing that the orange lens doesn't affect the shade of the red bulbs? (or is it kinda red-orange color)

I still like mine orange (just MPO), but i can't wait till someone finds a way to clear them out, but the red doesn't look that bad man. I thought it was going to be some weird orange-red color or something. Do they look the same as they did before u put the red bulbs in there when they r off? (is it orange when they r off and just red when on)

Looks good man.

Has anyone ever rigged their taillights so that the amber stays on? Just curious since I've done it on my Trueno but don't know what kind of side effects it would have on the SC300's electricals.

thats pretty cool

but the orange is still brighter....if you like orange
let me suggest buying a set of hyper white bulbs and putting them behind it
that way when you are racing someone ...and want to rub it in alittle bit ... you can always turn on your signal and get in front of them...just to say....haha ...i got infront of you

every bulb in my car is hyperwhite...except for behind the dash

the really cool place for it is in the tag lights... really lights up the tag

Thumbs up

Cool simple mod..

One question... Does anyone know the law on the rear signal colors? I know on older cars it can be red.. Is it the same for all post 1970 cars?

yeah.... uh... the new accords two door... they have solid rear tail lights
so the turn signal is red
but on four door its orange

i think there is no particular law on it
just depends on what model car you get

You know what'd be neat is HID reverse lights. I have a 5% limo tint and at night I couldn't see what's behind me for the life of me. I think it'd look pretty baller too 'cause NO ONE ELSE in the world would have them.
