Default Got some Silk Road custom coilovers

Hey guys,

I jsut got my silkroad coilovers custom ordered from japan in spring rates of 18/16. Took about a month to get here. Before i had JIC FLT-A2, and i can say that there isn't that much of a difference. People are saying that it will feel like a go kart. but it doesn't. I'll post some pics, but i'm sure you guys know what a black/black sc300 looks like.

Have a great day guys

CLIFFS: 18/16 kg doesn't feel that much different then 14/10 kg

what other suspension modifications do you have done? just doing coilovers wont do chit to make it an impressive handling machine. you have to do other things. most importantly weight reduction as well

why 18/16? most companies do 14/10. stance does 18/12. why 18/16? did you have the car corner weighed to confirm that you are getting the most optimum rates. have the shocks been revalved to work with new spring rates? what are your goals for the car?

do you still have the JIC and how much?

i chose 18/16 becuase that is what ueno is running on his soarer. I have some TT sway bars and that's about it. they were re valved for 18/16 from silkroad. they come 18/10 from silkroad anyways. will get the car corner weighted eventually, wewll as soon as i get my alignment.

sorry sold the JIC to a friend of mine.

Interesting, I thought the 18/16 would be much stiffer.
