You might want to think about that. Most independents buy their gas from the major suppliers. There is no difference. I know Phillips Petroleum sells to a lot of independents.

There are only so many refineries and refineries are expensive.
Well ... there are only three plants that really manufacture tires around the world. Does that mean all tires are equally the same?

Unhappy Petrol.....

Yep, $1 a litre in the UK, so $4 a gallon.......and thats in a country that produces more oil from our off-shore rigs than we need.....

Just an observation to Nico from Oz, a 15oz bottle of Octane additive, no matter which brand, will not raise the octane rating of a tank of petrol by 6, you will be lucky to get .6, thats right 'point six', so just over a half.......so it wont be 104RON, it will be 98.6RON......don't believe the advertising you read on the bottle.....

You'll get a better performance improvement by removing the 'tinnies' from the back seat

Unless you are advancing your timing, raising your compression, using NOS, raising your octane will only make you slower. Use the manufactur recommend octane rating. It's what your optimum fuel/timing maps are calibrated for.

I have realized an increase in performance when I put a fuel additive like an injector cleaner for instance.

My ride idles smoother, has better pickup and responce, etc. I run premimum fuel, 93 octane out of the pump.
