Brake Master Cylinder upgrade?

Brake Master Cylinder upgrade?
Does an upgraded brake master cylinder exist for our SC cars? I have the LS400 front brakes but I hate the initial dead-room when pressing the pedal. I don't like the fact I have to push farther down the brake stroke to get the front brakes to engage. It makes them feel like more of an on/off switch than smooth braking progression. Even though the brakes stop my SC MUCH better than stock brakes, I would like to change this breaking feel. Does an upgraded brake master cylinder exist for our cars?

if you get the supra tt brake booster and master cylinder it will most likely bolt. in. the sc changed the master cylinder. not sure of a year. i have a 93 sc300 and my original master cylinder was held in place by 3 bolts. i got a master cylinder out of a 95 sc300 and and that one was attached by only 2 bolts to the brake booster so i had to switch out both(i got both dirt cheap so i didnt mind). theoretically the supra tt master cylinder should bolt right up.
i just checked supra forums and the 95 NA supra master cylinder is held on to the brake booster via two bolts. i dont know if the tt and NA master cylinders are the same. the easiest way to check is to have someone cross-reference the part numbers for the NA and TT supras.
from what i have seen so far the NA supra have a 2 bolt master cylinder.

I have bigtime dead space after upgrading to all 4 TT calipers.
When I depress the pedal I dont stop until way down near the floor...kinda freaky.
I tried a TT brake master today, and it is the same thing.
I'm now wondering if the TT brake booster is required in order to get really good pedal feel??
The TT booster is smaller though and the brake lines dont line up and it doesn't seem like it fits the pedal bracket correctly to me.
I tried this today...

TT booster is on the left. Notice the rear shaft is longer..I wonder if this could be shimmed with washers????

btw the order of bleeding for our cars in the not the same as the standard car. the ABS unit is on the passenger side and the RF is the shortest line not the FL. so the order is. RR, LR, FL, FR

Unless you had this same problem BEFORE you installed the LS brakes, your problem is not with the master cylinder. Read the other recent posts about the BBK swap and LS 400 UpGRADE that are up right now. That info willsave you a ton of work and time and money. Really!
You have been a big help to me in the past and it is nice tobe able to maybe return some of that favor.
