Default Another newb here.

Hey gents just picked up a 92 SC400. I have liked these cars for a long time and finally ran acrossed a deal I couldn't refuse.

Just wanted to say hey, and I like the site seems very well put together. Many many upgrades to come, I want to keed the V8 and turbo it( possible paddle shifter trans project).

Thanks for your time and thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks for the welcome gents. I look forward to learning lots of sweet assed stuff on here.

That shifter sounds sweet, but this is the unit I was interested in doing.

It's a pretty sweet unit. A freind of mine has it onhis 67 Camaro and it worked flawlessly.

Kinda Apples to Donuts on that one. Paddle shifting a TH400 is nothing. Toyota auto's are a little bit more complex, but hey, if it works...It works.

Not really it has been made to work on a 94 Nissan 240sx SR-20 with an auto and a 90 Porsche 928 GT, both of these cars are controlled by an ecu and was very easy to adapt their kit over on these cars, as far as complexity I am sure these cars are on par with the toyota layout. From what they are saying is it should be a snap. Of course I do understand what you are saying, in your "Apples to Donuts" comparison...... Only time will tell.

Thanks again.
