Default timing belt mantainence

ok so i was wondering when i should have my timing belt changed and stuff again. it says on the motor that it was last done at like 83,000 miles there about. and right now the motor is at 113,000. the belt doesn't look too bad still. so...when do u think i should change it and how much do u think it'll cost at lexus...or should i go to my private mechanic?

Peace out

1. search
2. call the dealer and ask for a quote
3. call a private place(that you trust) and ask for a quote

the way it looks has nothing to do with how work it is generally. after the writing disappears off the belt, which is pretty quick, you cant really tell the condition accurately. you can see some minor cracking if its really old. i do mine about every 60-80k. worked for me with my celica, subarus, and my sc300.

also depends whether you beat on the car or not. if its daily driven then youre okay. if you track or beat on it often i would check it periodically like anything else on the car.
