Default SS brakeline problem, PLEASE HELP!!

I got a Goodridge SS brakeline from tirerack and it doesn't fit my 1993 SC300. Was doing the LS bbk today and wasted 1 hour trying to get the brakeline connect to the car brakeline, when i put the stock brakeline back it was so easy fit. Is the 93 SC brakeline connector different from other years?? For those who own a 93 SC with SS brakeline upgrade, where did you guy buy it from?

Any infor is appreciated!!!!! Thank YOu!!!!!!

I have a 93 SC300 w/LS400 brakes also. I got my Goodridge lines from HRPWorld.com (Hoerr Racing) and they fit ... was a bit hard to get it started, but once started, they threaded on like stock.

you may have to slightly file down the hard line threads on the car. I had to do that when installing my front ss lines from stoptech.

heres a quote from a supraforums post...

"You need to take a file to the threaded fitting on the metal brakeline attached to the car. You'll need to file it around the end where it has mushroomed. This is the threaded fitting, not the actually metal line. The factory puts the fittings on very tight and mushrooms them. Once you file the end down slightly it will fit."

I have Goodridge 93-98 Supra brake lines for my SC400.... fits perfect.

But for the rear brake lines you have to move it or relocate a little bit.

What's the part number of your Goodridge the you just bought?

Same here. The SS line install took triple the time of swapping in the TT brakes and was a real PITA because what you accurately described above.
