Thumbs up Troy's build

Intake Before and After

I put in my first legit performance mod yesterday. I learned a lot and had fun doing it, until I realized the stock hoses wouldn't fit the new intake... Had to run to Autozone and get some new ones cut at almost 9pm but it all worked out.

I can feel at least 5hp gain not to mention the awesome sound. It sounds much deeper and throaty, especially under open throttle. I'd say the sound in it's self was worth the investment

Before

After

Up next on my list (besides getting that dent repaired on Monday Is to get my mufflers cut out w/ pipe straight out the back w/ tips. It should sound like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0OkBWENo2E

Trust me, you don't want the mufflers replaced with straight pipes. I unbolted mine for a day and it sounds good revving in neutral and under load but there's way too much drone at 2k. I would recommend cheap N1 mufflers instead of straight pipes or glasspack mufflers if you want it louder for $25 per glasspack. Which is what I may end up doing. You want something resonated atleast.

Man I'm sad to hear that, I really like the sound of just pure engine w/resonators. I'll look into other options.
