Got a Lexus and want sound on the cheap huh? Just chop off your mufflers and you'll get all the agressiveness you can handle all for free too. Might need a hacksaw or cutting wheel. 20 bucks tops...heheh

remove mufflers and go with straight pipes, people will think you're making 1000hp

A JoeZ pipe doesn't really qualify as "More Sound, Less Money". Maybe "Same sound, Less Money".

An exhaust will probably give you what you're looking for. Keep an eye out for used HKS Hi-Powers.

for more sound..
you might wanna go with Injen rather than Joe-Z..
I have Injen with Tanabe..and Injen itself makes a big difference at WOT!!
and tanabe just compliments the low RPM
if you want the deep sound to be there for the most of the time..
then you should go for TANABE..(and it's not that expensive)
but if you want something louder at WOT..just get Injen and you won't be
sorry..

Cheaper is definitely getting a intake, fujita, injen, etc. If you are looking for sound, Joez wouldn't be your option because it's not noticeably louder.

WEll theres Greddy Sp2, which is louder than Tanabe and quieter than the HKS Hi power. Just to throw out some thought for you

When you say you like the Lexus HKS one, do you mean the look or the sound? It is fairly tame in the world of exhausts as far as noise goes.

MOst people go with Tanabe or the HKS Hi-powers. Hi-powers are significantly louder. Some also have Megan or Greddy.

The Tanabe is a nice exhaust, but like the JoeZ, certainly not loud.
