Default Would you like a web gallery for your Sc?

I have mine set up. Trying to find a server I can stick it on permanently (thanks for the temp hosting Brandon).

Click me.... hard

If you'd like a gallery like this, I'm getting my use out of Aperture 2.0 Apple gets a shining penny for their editing software and I am going to get my use out of it.

Submit any number of images you want in the form of links to each image.

Images must already be pre-chopped to look like you want, I don't have time to edit them. Making the gallery is still a task, but I'll do it. It would help if they are all the same size, but they don't have to be.

Once you get the gallery, all you need to do is stick the folder on a server and "it just works" Gotta love a Mac.

No image limit, nor minimum, but it should be at least ten images to be worth making a gallery.

This is my gift to you guys, if you want your SC to be displayed in style.

SC pics only. I'd like for us all to have these to put in our sigs and make our rides show up on CL in style. Kinda like a uniform thing we all have.

PS- the entire gallery with all 20 images, thumbnails, framework, and all is only 2.1 MB for my gallery. That's smaller than some single images alone.

Aperture 2.0 compresses everything into a super efficient package. People can run an entire gallery for the space of one large image.

that seems pretty cool. nice idea..that way people can just click on that link to find pix of your car..instead of doing searches upon searches if they were really interested..but wouldnt that basically be the same thing as linking it up to an online album..such as photobucket, flikr, etc.

No, those albums are bulky in size and take a long time to go through and load due to size. Plus they don't look quite as good/clean. They are not organized and dedicated to a certain one focus either. Once you get into one of those albums you have to view ads, the rest of the webpage, bunch of distracting junk.

Nice job OLT. Yea photobucket is teh sucks for real. WAY to laggy.

I actually used dreamweaver to make a similar gallery a while back for my 400. Quick load time and small thumbnails.

I like Dreamweaver. I have the Master Suite so I use it every now and then. Aperture is much quicker to work with so I use it. I prefer Lightroom, but I was trying to knock this one example out. I may go back and do it in Lightroom for comparison.

I got a new Nikon D40 that I'll have to put to use now.

So once we have some pictures for a gallery do we just post links to the images in this thread?
