Default newbie needing alil help

hey guys new to cl, im doing a interior swap and cant figure out how to remove handbrake lever any help would be great

if you're removing the whole lever, there are bolts under the e-brake cover (pics attached). unbolt the 3 bolts shown, and i'm guessing you can just loosen the tension wire til it slides right off.
if you're just removing the handle part, i actually just cut the cover right off, and bolted up an aluminum handle.

thanks i was only going to remove the boot but i guess u cant

Why do you have to remove the whole assembly if your only going to replace the boot?

Is that an ebay ebrake handle? Looks ok but I want one with chrome button.

i answered this question, but if you're just removing the boot, it slides right off towards the handle. you may have to cut it to clear your ebrake handle.

everything can be found on eBay. mine is a Ractive brand. it has a chrome button. the handle can be carbon, all chrome, or white. i have pieces that i swap out on it. i had to cut it down with a dremel to make it fit correctly.

the boot is secured with Velcro. Just grab from the bottom and pull out and up

yup. just valcro. its the side that is facing you, just pull the boot towards you and then pull the boot off
