I was at work doing a short shift today. and there this guy at work who is a department head at work. outta the blue he comes in and ask if i want to sell my car. i say for " how much" he replied " 300.00" . at that point i felt that he was just playing hes like follow to the break room i proceed to. so now where in the break room he gets on kelly blue book and quotes me 3500. in very exellent condition but says my car poor. i told him my body shot to **** but i have a full kit + more he told ok since u have all that ill give u 600.00 i just felt like i got slapped. he was like ur cars a piece of junk ill be doing u a favor.

I told him that you drive a WHAT A 94 mercury grand marquis. if i sold u my car i'd be ding u a favor. u cant even fit inside my car then we aurgued . so i asked him what were u going to do my car if i sold it to u." i am going to paint it kit it with anohter kit and sell it " . it makes me wonder why he would pick my car . but the funny thing his grand father just past ( r.i.p.) and he ran into some money from what he said. then he said final offer what would u take for it right now i siad 3500.00 he told me i'd be luck to get 500.00 cash i never felt so low balled disrepected and slap with out being touch i wanted to taylor-made and pumin spit on him i wish he was a giant towlet i would take a giant ***** on him. but last thing i said to him was dude the car has this

you could have a corvette just bought at $50,000 (example) and drive it for 1500 miles and the dealership will probably give you $35,000, and turn around and sell it for $45,000

stupid, but the way they do business.

 

I'm surprised a dealership offered more than $1,500... They saw your car and thought "Easy money" from reselling it for $8,000-10,000+, obviously without doing any maintenance or anything on it, like the dealership I got my SC from. I've made a promise to myself not to buy another used car from a dealership again.

Its not hard to read his story when you get past the stage of criticism of grammar and mispelling. Obviously he was/is in a pissed off state, hence the "rushed" story.
