Haven't gotten an estimate yet. According to Aliga, he thinks it can be repaired and not replaced, I hope the insurance company doesn't think so :P

Man, where in FL are you driving? I need to stay clear from wherever it is. I feel so bad for you. I hope it can get fixed!

^^ is that for pulling the dents or a replacment quarter panel? I had so damage similar to this and was told that i can only replace the panel. only one of the shops said that it would be "possible" to pull the panel. I hope it's not the latter.

Ya 2 shops told me it was best to get a new quarter. My plan is to get a new paint job after I get a used quarter installed...going BLACK baby!

...... The rear quarters on our cars are part of the roof metal too. In fact, the entire roof, rear pillars and both quarter's are one huge *** piece of metal.... How does one go about getting a single rear quarter in our situation?

Also, I've looked at mine extensively since I need a fix VERY similar to your done and it's not a bolt on part.... its welded to inner unibody parts so removal must be a *custom* process.

Someone with real knowledge on all this, what is the word?

its a cut/weld/sand/grind/bondo/sand again job, but yes, you can replace just part of a panel. done it a few times on a much smaller part of a car, but still doable
