Hello, new guy here. i tried searching for this for a while, hopefully you guys could help me out.

i have a 2000 sc300 bone stock. cylinders 5 and 6 have low compression and i basically have to get all of them re-done.

i saw on L-tuned parts website they are selling a 2jzgte short block and it comes with the short block, crank,pistons,rods and bearings fully assembled. im interested in getting this block but:

1) does anyone know if this can work with my car?
2) besides the turbos and ic, what else would i need to make this conversion work if it can even happen?

i found that info for my car is very limited, most sites mainly focus on the older models. any info would be much appreciated. thanks!

Search here, search ClubNA-T as well, you'll find answers to most anything.

That's just a shortblock, are you planning on using the GE head and doing an NA-T setup, or picking up a GTE head, or are you unaware of the differences in shortblock vs longblock? No matter what route you want to take, the information on any questions you're going to ask have most likely been answered on these two sites.

 

alright thanks that site is very helpful. i think the shortblock with the ge head is going to be a little expensive, so i might just do the full gte swap and be done with it.
