My stock passenger side ball joint is shot so i ordered a supra LCA to replace it, my question is do i have to change both to the supra or will i be good?

I'd change both, but thats just me. It should be ok, but you will have a tighter feeling on one side of the suspension. When the other balljoint goes out, then just replace with another supra lca if you don't mind driving around like that for a while. Not sure if it would affect alignment though.

I would change them both to supra lca. The lca supra arms are firmer than the lexus ones(and cheaper as we all know) and your front end suspension is just going to feel weird until you get a matched pair of lca's. I would not be in the habit of mismatching these. Just sell your good used lexus one and get the other side supra lca.

Yea you won't get the full potential of your lowering springs with worn lca bushings/balljoints.

The whole assembly comes out and will be much easier if the car is on a lift. If you are just replacing the bushings then those will have to be pressed out/in.

If the supra LCA work on the SC then im sure Aftermarket ones for the supra should go on to the SC as well. I could be wrong.

I just replaced my lower lca w/ MKIVs and I love em, imo I would get oem. They are very durable and going to give you a much tighter feel. Do it right the first time and change both. Be carefull with aftermarket cheap crap too. Cheers

thanks for the replys, i wold have thought that if a supra oem would work then so would an aftermarket but intellexual only said oem so i wasnt sure. as for cheapo ones i would most likely go with a JIC, Cusco, TEIN if i went after market.
