Default Bad Situation: Locked Keys in the Trunk

Just locked keys in the trunk. I think the trunk switch is locked too. What do I do?

this has been covered before. can you get into the car itself? yes, take the rear 10" woofer out and see if you can remove the panel behind the gas tank as well and use a really strong magnet to get the keys. that don't work? our trunk locks, from hearsay, are easy to break into through the tail light. Can't figure that out? take your registration/title to a dealership and have them cut you a new key since you most likely don't have a spare.

Pop the solenoid on for the valet key then you can access the boot.

This happened to some guy yesterday. Try going through a couple of pages of threads. He found the answer , by jumping some grey wire or something. I don't really see how this happens.

Remove the bottom panel under the steering wheel off and bypass the lock .Its a 10 minuite job. no need to go to the dealership for something that simple

Prices vary on replacements due to every keysmith being different with different machines, but locally it costs $75 for a blank high security key to be cut and $45 for the key.

As easy as 1-2!

1. Use a crowbar to open up trunk

2. Replace trunk.

This is nothing, I had the door/lock actuators break on me on both sides one time so I couldn't get in the car from the outside even though I had my key in my hands. Had to call AAA, they had this tool that goes under the window and in the car and they managed to open the door using the handle on the inside.

Anyways... goodluck.
