hi,everyone. i wanna to get SC400 (i don't wanna to get ticket for the turbo)

i wanna to know if i spend the same amount of $$$(for example 9k) which one should i get?


first 98+ sc400 + intake+exhause

i saw 98+ sc400 has 290hp AND MPG is better than the older model.20-29

or 98- sc400
then use the extra $$$ to buy the bodykit, intake & exhause or even rims.

which one is faster or better? thx


i want to spend less than 10k for SC400.

also i wanna to know if anyone can tell me when SC400 and GS has Twilight Amethyst Pearl color and topaz blue? and which one is faster or cost less if i mod GS400 or SC400(98+)

yes,sir my friend also told me 0-60 on 98+ sc400 is 6 sec. with 20-29 MPG that is seems very nice.

i am also looking for GS400 i will buy one of them for sure(when i see good deal) btw if anyone can tell me when SC400 and GS has Twilight Amethyst Pearl color and topaz blue? and Smoky Granite Mica color for GS?

99+ SC400 FTW! 3spoke steering wheel and gated shifter!

 

98+ SC400 FOR SURE!!! My dad had a 99 and I ran 14.8 in the quarter with a totally stock car.

 

BTW it wont be very easy finding a 98+ SC400 for less than 10K but if you are willing to buy a salvage title then you wont have a problem.

 

P.S. I Love salvage title and I dont see anything wrong with them as long as you can see pics of the damage.

you can't mod a pre 98 SC4 to go head to head with 98+ unless you go FI

 

I'm no expert on the SC400 by any means, but with the cost of mods for these cars, I'd just get the 98+ to save some money.

 

98+ only reason i didn't get a 98+ is cuz it's so much more expensive, and there's none availabe...

It's hard to come across any SC's in Hawaii to begin with.. A few of us are very fortunate to own them in Hawaii.

To OP, I'm with everyone. Go with 98+ and you won't look back. There are many cosmetic upgrades inside and out (which can be found through searching. ), not to mention a difference in hp/tq from previous　years.

 

good thing i'm picking one up then? haha. kinda pricey though. >_< but wanted to start off stock. and it was cheaper then the 300 that was for sale. =P
