my 1992 5spd sc300 has lsd?
You get 2 wheels spinning when its equal weight on each, but a little difference on one side and then the wheels starts spinning a furious 1 wheel peel.

i dont see how a door tag will help you. its not gonna list every option the car came with lol

the jacking up method to test a lsd was stated by someone else.
if you spin one wheel, the other wheel should spin in the opposite direction. if they both spin in same direction, then lsd, otherwise open diff.

the door tag lists if the car was equipped with lsd or not. I didnt check the door tags on the SCs that have done two wheel burnouts nor did I open the diff to check.
Next time I see the cars I will make sure they were non-LSD.

dont waste your time. if the diff is stock its guaranteed to be an open diff.

Both mine spin from a stop in a strait line I leave two Identical marks so I guess I'm lucky (My 92 sc400 would only ever spin one) but when you give it gas in a corner it is painfully clear that it is not an LSD.
