I bought remanufactured LS and TT calipers and they don't come with hardware except for the pins and clips.

Can you tell what I'm missing?

LS caliper: I think I'm missing this: X-Retainer What else? Shim kit that goes to the brake pads?



TT caliper: Am I also missing the X-retainer and shims that goes with the brake pads?



Do you guys know the part number for the hardware that I need?

I found these for TT rear caliper:
Rear shims-#04946-14030 [TT]
Rear clips-#04948-14010 [TT]

Are those PNs for TT the right one?

for both the front and rear, you are missing the brake pad retainer clip.


and for the front, you would need the LS400 caliper mounting bolts (shorter than SC), or just add a 3mm washer to make it clear.

What about the flat metal thing ( shims? ) that goes on the flat surface of each brake pad?

That TT caliper looks brand new from Toyota dealer but it is not, it's just remanufactured. No scratch or anything.

Hey man... do you know the part number for LS caliper bolt?

 

I tried looking through a OE catalog but no luck finding the number..Your best bet is to call the dealership for it...It shouldn't be too costly, its just a bolt...

You can re-use your SC bolts, they are a bit longer so you'll need to use spacers and it'll work just fine..

why do people use spacer son their caliper bolts? if its too long then cut it to length. its so easy. when you put on a washer it puts extra shear stress on the bolt. its probably marginal but theoretically a worse design.

just go to ace or an equivalent hardware store and get at least a grade 8.8(10 is much better) bolt of correct size, pitch, and length.

 

Is that all I'm missing? I think there's a hardware kit on each caliper.

 

about the concern on spacers with caliper bolts. I don't think its a big deal, because adding spacers onto the bolt doesn't change the bearing area of the bolt that goes through. You can add thousands of washer at the bolt head, but there's a same amount of area that goes through the front upright, recieve the same amount of shear stress.
Not to mention the brake torque will never exceed the shear strength of a steel bolt, so I won't worry too much about it.

So when it comes to just 3mm worth of clearance, why not a washer right

 

OK..... After 2 hours of rigorous searching I found OEM part numbers that I need for LS and TT brake hardware.

For those of you doing LS and TT set up here's what you need for the hardware.

Supra TT rear caliper hardware:

04946-14030 Anti-squeal shim kit

LS400 front caliper hardware:

04947-50083 Fitting kit
04945-50020 Anti-squeal shim kit
