I hope to wear out the tires cause I REALLY NEED some wider ones. Along with wheels, shocks, springs, bigger brakes, sways, the list only gets longer. LOL.

I am very excited to see that 6-speed go in, also waiting for Blizzy's 5-speed. Should be some sweet stuff.

Awsome setup. Car sounded great and looking at the last 2 videos from interior angle, that thing MOVES! very very nice.

 

Your tank is empty, go filler up and do some more vids! I love the supercharger sound...

Sweet! It seems to pick up the power really quick, especially that jerk in 2nd gear. I love that jerk pushing against the tranny. How about your 9 psi supercharger runs agains my 9 psi turbocharger?...LOL. It'll be fun if we all can get together and test the SC400s out. Beers should be on the table.

Awesome job KC.... The car sounds great. Your project is very inspirational for many SC400 and LS400 owners.

 

nice new videos. Indeed the vortech makes a big power increase. Taking a guess what do you think it will dyno at?

How do you think the transmission is holding with the extra power?

I really really hope I can make it to Texas. I am not sure I will be able to afford the trip though.

Thanks Lex, I have a feeling you'll be seeing some orders for those brackets. If you don't count all the time I've screwed around changing things on the car, I went form NA to supercharged in 3days time.

 

Well it would only be a guess. There are way too many factors to take into consideration.

I entered 442 hp (flywheel) and 3800lbs (GVW + myself) to get a 0-60 4.5 seconds. 80% drivetrain loss comes to 353rwhp. I don't know how accurate that calculator is, like I said, there are way too many factors.

I know I could get lower times with some fat tires. I have a very hard time launching without tire spin.

So far, the trans seems fine.

Hey guys,

Got a couple of new vids. Nothing special and you might get motion sickness from watching. LOL. I was doing some data logging today and made a couple of vids in the process. Going back over a couple of the logs, I saw 10.5 psi or so max at redline WOT AFR pinned @ 12 to 1.

I don't think I did any WOT runs in these vids.
