Default Help me decide on headlights

Well I'm pretty dead set on getting a set of headlights on ebay (you know those newer ones). I REALLY like the way the black-housings look on darker colored cars.

But my car is white The car I saw that was white with the chrome-backed housings looked a little out of place; maybe it was the chrome rims, I dunno. But I'm wondering if the black-housings would look good on my car.

So would they look good on a white car? I couldnt find any pictures of them on a white car, so thats why I'm asking this question

id say stick with chrome for the white car. the black ones imo would only look good on dark colored cars

I think both would look fine but chrome will look more oem and match the other lights a lot better. Definitely chrome for a white car.

The G35 coupe has black or gunmetal headlights. It looks nice no matter what color of the car.

Keep the headlights chrome on your SC. Sand and polish it if it's faded. If you paint your SC headlights, you will notice the yellowing of the lens like most members here with painted headlights. Unless if you buy a brand new headlight.

Between the two, I would say chrome. Or I've seen people buy those ebay headlights to get the clear lens to put onto the stock head lamp.

Thanks guys! Was curious. I think I may use the ebay headlights and figure a way to get the halo to work properly.

I'd say black as the contrast with a white car would look nice

Does anyone know how the cutoff line is on the ebay headlights? Are they comparable to the 2000 sc400 headlights?
