I had 245/40 on a 18x10...can't say I liked it much...now runnin a 265/35 in the rear

 

I'd say pull the fenders, but I've never gotten into the stretched tire look by any means so I guess I'm biased.

 

They look odd because the fronts are almost as wide as the rear.

I totally boner'd on this set up.
I didnt take into account that the stretch would lower the profile.

So 235/35 for the front in order to tuck the tire inside with rolled fender?

 

Your gonna have to pull.

Your rims are outside the fender.

 

Not unless he lowers it some more. Wheels should camber in to help with fitment. I'd rather stretch tires than pull because fenders can't be unpulled.

My 275's hit pretty hard. He's gonna hit even worse.

Camber the hell out of it.........and get 6 months of tire life.

 

My friend is running 245/40/18 on the rear 18x10 +22 offset and it would only need to be rolled to fit and the rim is not exposed since the rim guard of the tire still protects it even though the sidewall is stretched. His fronts are 235/40/18 on an 18x9 +25 offset and it would need only a slight pull to fit.

His car is on coilovers so we got it to the point where the car will not rub with the suspension tight enough. That's why I would suggest 235 or 245 on the rear and 215 or 225 on the front.

 

I wonder how's the ride or traction gonna be?

I might go 225/35 F and 245/35 R

Also thinking about getting a set of Falken FK452s... I heard that their 215 are like 225.

 

Or Vertex / Origin for the front fender?

 

machine shop and shave the spacer down to get it to fit?

if not, I would leave the rear and stretch the front slightly. thats not bad at all.

 

stretch and add camber, adding vertex front fenders will help so you can turn easier. the rear will look perfect with a stretch, if you just stretch the front it will look sick but may be hard to drive once lowered more.

tires 245 front and 275 rear

perfect fit withOUT any spacer or nothing....just roll the fender, good to go...
