Is it possible to swap a standard 4 spoke steering wheel with a 3 spoke ?

Yes, I recommend the is300 wheel. That is what I have, and love it. Be prepared to spend quite some time cutting the current Cruise control housing (Very carefully) with a dremel. There is a guy on here that has a really nice 3 spoke...

Installation, just do a search, should be pretty easy (depending on your experience, etc).. It will take time (the first time, change the connectors for the airbags as well). Don't forget to buy a steering wheel puller!! Good luck!

I am using a 01 GS wheel. I haven't hooked up the air bag or cruise control yet.

 

Yes, you can put anyone on that uses a single stage airbag. Some people have used newer model Camry ones.

I got mine from Japan but have not yet installed it.

2001 RX300 woodgrain 3 spoke steering wheel has a single stage airbag. It's a perfect match for the tan interior SCs.

 

i love the 3 spoke! thats what i need in my interior to really spice it up. especially with the wood grain!

 

is it possible to put a single stage air bag into a later moddel wheel? ive noticed that alot of the three spoke wheels have a similar design, so it stands to reason that an older bag might work. right?
