Default spoiler question

hey guys i was wondering about spoilers,
i have the 93 huge spoiler lip thing on my car, but i like the 97+ spoiler, so will it work?
if i take out my 93 one will there be holes that need to be filled or anything?

I'm actually in the process or getting a lip kit for it, so i figured i'd paint everything all at once

From what I recall the 93 spoiler had ~5 holes across the whole trunk. I don't think it will fit without having to fill in the holes.

IMO you can easily find someone to do a trunk swap. It seems to me that there is more demand for a 93 spoiler than a 97.

That's because the 92 spoiler works with anything, but the 97 only looks right with the full 97 kit.

That being said, my car is getting repainted soon and it would be a good time for someone to give me a 97 spoiler and trunk trade

Subjective topic I suppose. But still IMO, 93 spoiler wins every time of course, I'm a sucker for any lip spoiler...

Azndragon,
Maybe you should turn this topic into a Poll to see whether a MY92-96 or MY97-00 (or naked) spoiler is more desirable. Or you can just post your offer in the classifieds

The 92-96 spoiler owns the 97+ spoiler. The 97+ looks like a normal spoiler, cool, but the 92-96 is so so sooo clean and a rarer-style of spoiler. The design doesn't get any cleaner than the 92-96. I'd love to get a spoiler that looks like a mix between a 92-96 spoiler and a Viper GTS spoiler, basically a longer and taller 92-96 spoiler. I've seen one similar to this on a GS so I assume one's made for the GS but haven't seen many other spoilers made for an SC yet that I like over my 92-96.
