If so, during hard cornering do you slide left/right?
If you answered yes to both of these questions, than it's more than just a stereotype... it is a design for the intended market
Granted, our cars were originally intended to be luxo-cruisers but a little side bolstering couldn't HURT!!!!

I have an SC with OEM seats and no i don't slide around.
So you think that lexus anticipated that when this car is 15 yeas old americans will be fat ?? when my car was made according to you data only 10% were overweight.
1.) stalling has vanished, no more problems whatsoever

2.) almost ready to order my bodykit, im waiting to get the price quote. (not telling you guys what kit im going with yet)
3.) my custom rotors are being designed.
4.) just got quoted for the paint; a] spray the whole car-$1200 b]touch up the parts where the clear coat is peeling and to paint my bodykit-$700 c]if i let my best friend do it, $700 for total respray including my bodykit ($700 is for the primer stuff, paint, flakes, equipment, etc. and labor)
5.) my rims are being designed, i'm not really sure on what style to roll with so we're putting up some sample drawings right now.
6.) dont know about exhaust (stuck between apexi ws2 or magnaflows)
7.) intake will be ordered when my guy gets back to me (Injen short ram)
8.) i'm waiting for my connect with my coilovers (teins btw)
9.) my cluster is semi fixed, at least i can see how fast i'm going now.. hehe
10.) and HID kit is ordered so now i gotta buff my headlights.
yup... this car should be done in a few months, 6 months is the most because remember, this is my weekend project car. whenever i have free time, it's spent on this car. and i'm already planning on a second project car (350z).
