Hey guys, I did a search for hood adjustment and did not find anything useful. Is there anyway to adjust the hood on the SC??

I know with the older cars they used to use shims. You could leave the bolts on the brackets loose ,but not ready to fall off. Then move it side to side with someone else. You can use a tape measure if you want too be exact. There is another way that might be easier. Talk to a body guy.

is it just hard to shut? If thats the case try adjusting the rubber shocks that hold the hood tight, i couldnt close my hood without slamming it until i did that, now it shuts real nice.

I believe the car was wrecked before. I did a carfax on it and nothing showed up. I do know that there is no body damage done to it.
