When installing TT wheels......?
Hey guys. Just curious. When installing TT wheels (the 17s) on a stock body, stock height, sc300 with stock brakes (basically all stock) does anything have to be done to accommodate the wheels. From what i understand they bolt up with no problems correct? I dont believe one would need spacers or hubcentric rings right? Thanks in advance
The Supra hub is identical to the SC hub in diameter (no centering rings needed).
The lug pattern is the same, and your factory SC lugs will work on the wheels (no need to buy new lugs).
You can fit 285's in the rear on stock unrolled fenders, and 245's up front on stock unrolled fenders (255's will fit on a 17x8, but they will rub the suspension unless you run spacers).
You should run into exactly zero difficulties.

The reference intellexual is making is in regards to an aggressive/flush fitment. You would need to space out the TT rims in order to be perfectly flush. But if someone is concerned with being perfectly flush, just get wheels made to fit!

blizzy is right the mk4 tt wheels are 17x8+50 and 17x9.5+50 not whatever intellexual says. stock sc wheels are 16x6.5+50(at least the ones i got)
put a 25mm spacer on the rear and 15mm front and it will be nice.
search and you will find a thread just recently on how the tt wheels look on an sc with and without spacers.
