Door locked shut

Default Door locked shut

I just changed accuator in my door due to locking and unlocking problems and now the door is locked shut. I can hear it unlocking and locking with the remote and from inside door switch, but it wont budge.
can anyone please help me and let me know if theres a trick or something

When you replaced the actuator did you snap the ball back in place. If not the actuator isn't moving your lock. Also this is a valuable lesson to not put everything back together until you test it when you can. If it is in fact locked shut though, you're going to have to cut a hole in your door panel if you already put that back on and closed the door.

The door panel is not back on, i didnt want to put it all back together, find out something didnt work, and have to pull it all apart again.
so the door is shut and i can fiddle with the accuator from the inside, i can remove the outside door handle and look in from there also.
I did manage to push down the 2 rods that connect to the ouside door handle, and the door popped open. I have since shut the door and it is locked shut again
