That's what sucks about a stone the size of a mountain.... it doesn't flex. There is no absorption. All the energy is focused on the car because the solid mass he it. Truthfully, he'd have done better head on with an oncoming car since it would have given some of it's energy up.

This is a worst case scenerio if you are going to hit something. Even a brick wall gives a LITTLE and breaks through. Man that was a hard hit.......

The worst may be that he has to pay for repairs to the wall. My friend bought the city a new telephone pole once for about $3k

I hate to split hairs here, but...nevermind.

Todd, get home safe. I wish you the best of luck as you try and get your life back in gear. Needless to say, we are all pulling for you in every facet.

Just want to take a moment here to thank everyone here for the well wishes,on Todds' behalf. He is doing well and in good spirits. I posted an update for him on the first page and will continue to do so until he is home safe again. He is going to be staying a few more days in the hospital just to make sure that everything is all good with him, and then he will be heading home.

Our forum brother is VERY fortunate to still be here with us, and hopefully he will bounce back quickly. Remember his screen name is RISING SUN; and to say the least, he is certainly living up to the name for he is living in order to see the SUN ,,RISE again.

This pic is probably the most scary of all, aside from the car in flames. Please let this be a reminder to you all that life is short and that anything can happen at anytime. Always remember to buckle your safety belts(this truly did aid in the saving of TODD's life), and please drive carefully. Let it be a LOOONNNGGGG time again before another thread such as this one pops up here!!! Stay safe fellas!!!!!

Update,,,, to show you all how the news overgenaralizes things and just assumes they know exactly what is going on,,,,

http://www.1rbn.com/webpages/news/di...f-99286f354df6
http://www.tristatenews.com/article_7278.stm

If you click on the pics in the articles,,, they will enlarge. Cant paste them here.

Side note: the other Lexus accident mentioned in the articles was not related to the Neloc group that Todd was travelling with,, just very coincidental.

Also,, Todd is doing very well, as of today, and is expected to be released to go home tomorrow.

link #1- page not found. you didn't copy the link when you grabbed it, only the text.

EDIT: fixed it for you.

An additional black Lexus was involved in an accident in the Lumberland area on the same day.
Those aren't good odds when you are fighting a generalization.

LAST UPDATE!!!

Todd was discharged from the hospital yesterday and is now at home, starting the recouperating process. He is sore, and bruised, however his sense of humor about this whole situation has never diminished. Sure he will be back up on the scene very soon.

Here is a word from the man himself,,,,

Thanks again guys, on Todds' (Rising Sun) behalf for the many well wishes!!!!
Stay safe fellas and remember to always buckle up!!!1
