Default Safety Neutral Switch wiring

Ok since no one has a pic of what to do.. I'm showing a picture of the plugs that went to the stock 1jz tranny. Please circle the PLUG that you use. And please tell me what to do. And hopefully if this post works you can sticky it. Haha

is the tranny on the car?...would have been easier to do the harness stuff while it was all out of the car...

the only plug we needed help with is the reverse light one as they arent compatible but on the rest i do recall we had to cut/soder one plug onto the auto 1j harness to complete the connection

Wats up Rexn30, I got your PM but I was busy so I couldnt reply.

Basically the wire you have running in the picture what you will need to do is plug one of them into the reverse signal, and the other also plugs into the tranny into the speed sensor. The other wires you can simply ignore.

As for the Neutral safety switch, you just need to ground the NSW wire that is plugging into the ECU, the way I did it was just cut the NSW wire and wired it to the A/T indicator switch which thinks the car is in neutral. n But grounding it is prolly easier.

As for the the start switch, Find your starter signal wire and run it into the car, you can either wire it to the STA2 under the steering wheel, just get voltage tester and find out which wire sends 12V when its on the start position. Or just create a switch make run 2 wires 12 volt from battery and wire to starter signal wire.

Hope it helps.

Well, I went to pepboys today and bought a push start button kit. Not positive but it looks like you will do the wiring just to the ignition and not tought the starter or anything... Will this work?

Yah, that should i was thinking of doing the same thing. Run all the wires where is says to run them, except the starter one. Run it to the starter spade connector. Here is a somewhat helpful link showing where to hook the wires up on a relay for it. its on a mustang but the idea is there. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...LRS-11572K.pdf
