just finished replaced the steering rack on the SC400 (passenger side seal was shot and puking oil), is there a procedure documented online for a temp alignment that will get me close so that I can drive the car about 2 miles down the road to the shop?

 

Just drive the 2 miles. Unless the wheels are pointing in opposite directions you'll be fine.
