Here is another picture of the mount being installed. This custom mount was made of 3/8" mild steel. A jig was made so we can reproduce the consistancy for my other future projects. This mount is little over kill, but it is better to be safe then sorry.

Once again, what I am posting in this thread is not new. These parts were made few years ago and they been patiencely waiting for the proper host.

Hello Jason,

This is why the alternator was relocated. Remember I have no formal training in Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, Frabrication or anything like that. Secondly I have no formal degree in engineering or design. So, please forgive me for the sloppy design, welding and engineering of this project. However, one thing I do have is the desire to go fast and I love Lexus and especially when it is a V8. I am a hobbiest.

Actually that would be a great plan. I have a spare motor from a 97 setting in my shop that I planned to biuld for more boost but a 4.7 would be sweet. I need to read up on your threads an see what all in involed to do it.

Finally chased down a set of 1uzfe heads. I have 3 sets but missing proper cam caps. Anyway, Stage II cams are being grind and Oversized Valves ordered and we will be starting on the head porting in the next couple of days.

We did some work on the SC400 yesterday and today I installed the twin turbo intercooler. This IC has dual 2.5" inlets and single 3" outlet. This a bar and plate intercooler with top to bottom configuration. I am into more of function instead of fashion. This FMIC would not be your typical Bling Bling rice look but it will do the job.
