I'm going to be repainting my SC this winter and I'm hoping to retain the black color I have now. Does anyone have any recommendations of black paint colors that will look nice?

OLT has a really nice clean metallic black on his sc- one of my fav. blacks not sure the code though- check out his links

 

I like the black on BMW's... its deep...

 

e36 m3's are Cosmos black
e46 m3's/e39 m5's are carbon black

id go with carbon black =)

Yea~ metallic black is so much easier to maintain than black onyx~ one of a kind too~

Thanks for the advise, I really like the Carbon Black. I think I may have found a keeper! At least unless I find something I like better in the meantime.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has pics of the colors on an SC like OLT that'd be great too. Thanks everyone!!

 

Maybe, maybe not! Mine has been sitting outside under a tree for 2 yrs since it got painted.....lol. I have it scheduled to go in for paint in november and have the entire car redone. I bought a cover for it this time.......LOL.

 

The black that comes on the Subaru STI is really nice. It's got some bronze/gold flake in it. Very nice black for sure.

 

wooow such a nice black.... i wanna find a white color that just jumps out... im still searching tho..

 

202, do it. Then get some neon green flames and a 'Type R' sticker on the rear...it'll work out.
