Default 1j BOV location

where is the BOV on the 1j? Im still deployed so all i have is pics to look at of my motor and im tryn to verify that it has one on it. that way, i can get one if it doenst.

Im not positive on the 1jz since mine isn't in yet but, On my friends SR20 the BoV was like connected to the SMIC I believe, or very close to it, looks like a black tube ha.

That is after market though. I also notice your stock one is still in place.. I can confirm that the one Audi has pictures is correct. It world weird though. Both me and Audi noticed it almost seems like it vents back through the intake, at least that is where the sound comes from.

Most 1Jz owners will leave the stock bypass valve on and disconnect the vacuum line rendering the bypass valve useless.

I plan to do the same when I install a Tial blow off valve.
