according to my manual you do not need to remove the sunroof assembly to remove or replace the roof headlining.

yes, parts are relatively pricey. contact aliga or rjdist for all your parts needs in the classified section. Welcome! Have any pics of the car?

thanks for the info im aware i dont need to take it out to replace the one piece headliner ,but the part i need to replace is just the cover separate piece that goes under the sunroof and slides in and out. if your manual addresses that i would really appreciate the help thanks tom

Well I looked at my manual again and it does not specify how to just take off the sliding shade cover. But it looks like you do need to take off the headliner completely just to get to it.

Default thanks

thanks for the encouragement ,i really!!! like this car got the rear window put in today ,interiors done except for passenger seat .found an old retired police officer who does custom interior as a hobby and he is fixing the tear on the seam of my passenger seat. that saves me about 200.00 so i dont have to buy another at the salvage yard ,thats crazy trying to find one ,the shipping is outrageous if you do find one in good shape and thats rare
i drove the car over to his house today and it runs great smooth powerband and drives like a dream .i may sell my 3000gt and get me a sc 300 to mod up and drive
92 sc400 project(almost done)
93 dodge stealth
93 mitsubishi 300gt sl
87 suzuki intruder 1400 gl
