Bilstein Struts/Shocks
Does Bilstein make Struts/Shocks for SC400 and if they do, how much are the Struts/Shocks? I hear Bilstein shocks have firmer feeling than the Tokico shocks. Also, if Bilstein makes shocks for SC400, can I get an adjustable one?
Thanks,
Peter~

No, not the SC 400 specifically. They may make them for the Supra but, not sure on that one. The Bilsteins are not adjustable. They can specially custom valve it for you though but, you have to go thru the Bilstein factory. Did this on a Dinan suspension 10 yrs ago. That is the whole point of Bilstein that, they are not adjustable. That is what one of their reps told me awhile, ago. They also make them for the GS 400 but, not our cars specifically.
There was a thread about the KYB AGX adjustable. People in this Forum say it is good but, never tried it. Look into that.

I believe KYB do not make adjustable shocks for SC400. I did a research and found none on adjustable shocks for SC400. It must be for Supra.

Yes, it is for the Supra someone said. Look at the past posts. It is more in detail about it. Also, GroupBuys had something going on with the AGX and Eibach springs but, don't know if it was a good price or if it is still at GroupBuys anymore.

Here is the data from the Bilstein website for the Supra.
The SC3/400 are not listed.
Folks have been saying that the TEIN coilovers for the supra fit the SC3/400. Using that logic then, perhaps the Supra Bilsteins might work but damed if I know for sure.
Make: TOYOTA
Model: Supra (Including turbo) 3 Ltr.
Year: 861/2-91
Blank: HD
Front: B46-1125
Rear: B46-1126

If that is the only listing for the Supra. I don't this it advisable to get them. I think the new generation Supras are the ones you're looking for. However, I am not sure on that. Also, the note about which type of Bilstein these shocks you just listed. These are the heavy duty ones not, the sport ones. You're then better off getting the Tokikos-same lifetime warranty. Also, the generation Supra you listed with the Turbo. That cannot be right. The Turbo Supras for that generation used the TEMS suspension which, had like 3 settings to control it. So, I would double check if it is for the Supra, which generation 86-91 or the last generation. Also, is it for the non-turob or turbo? Which one fits, I have no idea.

I just put a set of OEM shocks/springs from a '94 TT supra right onto the SC last weekend;everything bolted up without any hassles.
Now the car rides like the Mercedes AMG setup,no harshness, yet no funky floating around either. The car is about a half an inch lower now.
Best $100 I ever spent on a suspension.
