Struts or Springs??? Now... which is my problem???
Since I am not too savvy on how the suspension components work, I wanted to share a symptom my cars suspension is going through in hopes that you guys can give me some guidance and help.
When I park my car, one side of the rear end (either drivers or passengers) will sometimes sit lower or higher than the other by about half inch. At first I thought it was due to the ground leveling of the parking space, but through multiple scenarios I came to find its not just related to that. I can park one day on a perfectly flat and leveled parking spot, come back to it again later on, and find the rear end is not sitting in a balanced position.
So would this most likely be weak springs, or faulty struts?
As a notation, my struts do not show any leaks, car is riding on stock suspension with no mods to it, trunk is empty about 90% of the time with only spare and cd changer in it. My car is a 92 SC4 with 180K miles on it.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated!!! Thanks.

with 180,000 miles on the odo, and original suspension, you should replace the struts at a minimum. I would replace the springs and the LCAs with Supra ones up front and change the steering rack bushing too. The rear LCA bushings should be relaced. Visually inspecting these items is not reliable. Based om mileage you need to do these things if you want your vehicle to perform properly.
This should be in addition to whatever is causing the sag. In fact this very well could be your problem anyway.
Good Luck.
