Default TRD Supercharger

I was just thinking the other day to myself what it would take to run a 2UZ TRD supercharger on a 97 1UZFE. I know that all blocks and heads are interchangable but intakes are not. I was wondering if the supercharger manifold could be made to fit or how easy it would be to swap 2UZ heads onto a 1UZ block on then just bolt the charger right on.

Are the valvetrain parts interchangeable? Or just the cylinder head its self?

I acquired a supercharger mounting bracket from a 2UZ to try and get it to work on my 1UZ: it is definitely not cross compatible.

Your best bet is to go through Australia. There are kits sold with manifolds that bolt right down to the 1UZ block. Some custom fabrications are required for the entire install, but the Aussie kits will get you closer to the finish line than the TRD kit will.

yeah I know all about the Richwood kit. I was inquiring about this Idea because I was on the Lextreme forums today and poking through the NA v8 forums and read that heads are cross compatible in this one table that was created. I was not sure however if this was true. iIwas also thinking that if heads are just swap and bolt on you could easily swap 2UZ heads and use the TRD supercharger for much less than the Richwood manifold and a M90 or M112 blower and you would have a factory toytoa backed and tuned product
