Nigel! I'm n0sc0pe on the MR2 Forums. I don't know if your going to feel the same way I did but I miss my 2. The two cars are completely different but the SC does make a better daily driver.
Parts (OEM and aftermarket) are easier to find than the two and the prices aren't that bad either considering that you can actually get them new. A 1j clip is just about the same as a MR2 clip.
Balljoints are one piece with the control arms so they are replaced together which is kind of dumb.
With 4.5K you can get a 92-94 or a 95-96 (if your lucky). I paid maybe 1k more than I should for my 94 but it was a factory 5 speed so I'm happy.

did they total the MR2 out? hard to tell but looks like you could fix it from the pic and turn into a track car?? what a fun car. i had one back in 2003 but it was so hard to find stuff for the car. one car i will always miss.

U guys already makin me feel welcomed and i dont have a SC3/4 yet... appreicate ur inputs on helpin choosin on wat i want.... how does 17's look on the SC? i was lookin on the board but i did see any 1 w/ some...

hey.....love your mr2....I also had a 93 black mr2 turbo with 95 tail light....miss that car...sorry about your 2
I got my clip from g-speed....that pic looks just like the clip I got (air filter)
You will love the sc300, if you can find a clean one. (I have seen a lot of beat up ones).....The one thing with SCs, gas mileage is not that great.
