I should have said that yes, I jacked up my car, threw in the Jack Stands and while laying under the engine you can get to that stud point behind the oil filter. But yes, that's at least one to make sure we check out.

Once the SC 400 images are online I'm sure we'll all end up running wholly new grounding kits. Which will be good for us all.

Bought a new ground cable from NAPA today, $21.00, 36'' 4 ga. could have used a 30 or 32'' maybe been a little cheaper. must have 2 flat ends.

I'm still patiently waiting for a picture / ground points scan of photos like what we saw for the SC 300 earlier in this thread. Once that goes up I'll know all the lengths, points and hardware amounts to buy to run an ENTIRE additional grounding system loom.

I took it for a drive tonight, and I still felt a hesitation when cold. After I got up to temp. it runs off idle like its a new car. I hear the 94-95 has some MAF weakness, but I think my next move will be MAF spray cleaner and new air filter.

Sometime soon I plan on taking some sandpaper and sanding down all of my grounding points, my car's not acting up but it'd just make me feel better and it might even improve things a bit.

Nerocity - sending out another request to you since you said you'd be able to do this for CL.... Pretty Please on those scans of the SC400 engine bay (1UZ-FE -1992 - 1996 years) electrical grounding points diagrams.

I came back after the weekend expecting to scoop these up - but had to go digging to even find this thread as it had dropped off into "next" page land. :O

Even though this is not a hesitation thread as such, it does have to do with it. I cleaned my MAF with MAF cleaner, and installed my new air filter. Car seems to have the same perf. as before, the old air filter was not that dirty. I think the hesitation is less, but with the A.C. on and 2 add. people in the car it still has a cold temp. low throttle hesitation. I know the dist. caps and plugs and wires are next.

We would really like to get a reference of the factory ground locations. Thanks for the additional ground pics.

I found this on a different forum, but it deals specifically with our cars. Check it out y'all. I'm going to do this fix Sunday. Here's the link.
