Default Favorite Coilovers

What are your favorite coilovers for the SC? I couldn't quite find a poll for this, and thought that it may be useful for those deciding what coilovers to buy for their car. Your input would be greatly helpful. So what set of coilovers do you have in your ride? Pros and cons? What's your opinions?

I have tein type flex, on my SC. So, thats what I voted for.

The ride is a bit firmer than stock, but no bouncyness or anything. I LOVE that the height is adjustable, w/out shortening the travel. A+ in my book.

I have tein basics on my accord. Im pretty happy with them, as well.

Never had any other coilovers, though.

I'll probably be buying the CS for the EDMC (more streetable) but I've always loved the HKS Hipermax (III will be available soon) and Tanabe Sustec Pro (damn them for not making the Seven series for the SC).

I've got the Zeal Function B6's on mine, and the ride is somewhat jarring. Also, I believe worth mentioning, I've got 20x8.5's/9.5's on there, so that may be a large part of my ride being so stiff. Granted, they corner like no other - there's virtually NO body roll, no brake dive, no nothing, but they are a little difficult to live with day-to-day. I personally don't mind so much, but whenever my wife or any of my friends ride with, I pay more attention to how it feels.... It's pretty stiff.

ok, i'm about to purchase Tien CS coilovers but it seems like every place only has it specifically for the supra mkiv. Do the make one for the sc4 in specific?

Or will I be good ordering a set for the mkiv supra?

Coilovers are interchangeable between the MKIV and the SC300, from what I hear.

Great thread. I need new suspension badly... I'd like to keep ride quality near stock, it can be a bit firmer, thats fine. I was thinking Tein SS, but now im seeing this Tein CS. I thought i had it narrowed down but yet another option to consider. Anybody felt both suspensions? Id like to know how they compare.

I'm rolling on some tein cs and I love the ride. If you want a comfortable ride go with CS. My second choice would be tein ss for a really firm ride.

How firm would you say the SS is? All out performance ride?
